Our guiding principle is simple - we prioritize honesty in every piece of information we provide. We hold ourselves accountable to truthfulness, not only to our members but to everyone. The We the People Convention (WTPC) is a nationally recognized conservative organization that was established in Ohio in 2011. With members in all 50 states, our mission is to recruit, educate, and motivate citizens at the grassroots level to embrace their constitutional responsibilities in governing their townships, municipalities, counties, states, and nation. By offering opportunities, knowledge, and training, we aim to ensure limited constitutional governance.

Our organization operates solely on donations from supporters. We have no paid employees, and every donation we receive is dedicated to carrying out our mission statement.

Our primary role is to scour the news for factual stories that directly impact our members' lives. Whether the news is positive or negative, we bring this information to their attention to protect and promote individual freedom, liberty, prosperity, and the American way of life. Additionally, we provide recommendations on suitable actions that our members can take to safeguard their interests and advance issues that matter to them.

Tom Zawistowski, the President of the We the People Convention, hosts a weekly podcast that reviews current news events within historical context and provides insightful analysis on why they matter and how they may directly affect our members. Each episode includes actionable steps that viewers/listeners can take, such as contacting their Senator or attending an event, to help achieve favorable outcomes for our members.

In addition to the weekly podcast, the WTPC regularly publishes news stories and videos on its website and phone app throughout the week. If a story requires immediate attention from members, we send phone notifications or text messages to ensure its visibility. These messages are typically directed only to members who are directly affected by the story. We also send a less urgent but still important email newsletter to all members several times a week, featuring selected stories.

Tom Zawistowski, as President, frequently travels to speak at Liberty and other groups nationwide. The We the People Convention also organizes public events whenever necessary to educate our members and the general public while fostering organization and unity.

We are not a passive organization. Our active engagement in politics and society stems from our commitment to safeguarding and preserving freedom, liberty, and prosperity for future generations. Our motto is "Not just talk - but Action!" We seek to thoroughly understand the issues at hand and then act accordingly in support or opposition. Join us!
